Refund Policy
Effective date: 29 July 2026
This Refund Policy explains when we refund money and what happens to your account afterwards. It forms part of our Terms of Service and uses the same defined terms. Where this policy and Section 17 of the Terms differ, this policy governs on refunds. Nothing here limits a refund or cancellation right you have under mandatory consumer law.
1. Who you are contracting with
Refunds are paid by the entity that governs your Account's region: Заалт ЭйАй ХХК (Zaalt AI LLC) in Mongolian tögrög (MNT) for the Mongolia region, and QuikMN LLC in US dollars (USD) for the Global region. We do not convert between regions, and a refund is always paid in the currency you paid in.
2. The free tier is always free
Every core part of the Service has a Free plan. You never have to pay to evaluate Quik.mn, and nothing in this policy applies to Free-plan use, because nothing has been paid.
3. Seven-day money-back window
If you buy a paid plan and change your mind, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the date we record your payment for that plan. You do not need to give a reason.
- The window runs from the date the payment is recorded against your Account, which is the date shown on your invoice record.
- It applies once per Account for each product line (Shortener, Email Counter, Creator). It is a trial safeguard, not a way to use paid features repeatedly at no cost.
- It does not apply to a renewal of a plan you have already held, or to a plan you have already been refunded for.
- We may decline it where the Account has been used in breach of the Terms — for example for spam, phishing or other abuse — or where the pattern of purchases and refunds is plainly abusive.
4. Refund of the unused period
Outside the seven-day window, payments are not refundable except where mandatory law requires it or where one of the following applies. In each of these cases you are entitled to a refund of the unused portion of what you have paid, calculated pro rata on a daily basis from the date the event begins to the end of your prepaid period:
- we permanently discontinue a paid feature or plan you have prepaid for, or discontinue the Service as a whole;
- we terminate or suspend your Account for our own convenience, or for any reason other than your breach of the Terms or of applicable law;
- the paid functionality you have prepaid for is materially unavailable for a continuous period of 72 hours or more, including where the unavailability is caused by a security incident; or
- we materially and adversely change a paid plan you are currently paying for, and you cancel that plan or close your Account within 30 days of our notice of the change.
5. What happens to your account after a refund
A refund reverses the paid period it covers. From the moment a refund takes effect:
- Your plan reverts to Free. The affected product line moves to the Free plan immediately.
- Free-plan limits apply to everything on the Account — not only to new items. This includes the Free-plan caps on how many Links, pages, forms, timers and signatures you may keep, Free-plan quotas, and the removal of paid-only features such as CSV export, deep analytics and additional webhooks.
- Link lifetimes become the Free-plan lifetime. A Link created under a paid plan may carry a longer expiry than the Free plan allows. Once a refund takes effect, we may shorten any such Link to the Free-plan maximum, currently 30 days from its creation, and a Link already older than that may expire immediately. Paid-only page and form features may likewise stop working or revert to Free-plan behaviour.
- Watermarks and Free-plan branding return on surfaces where a paid plan had removed them.
A period you were not refunded for stays a paid period. Where you receive a partial, pro-rata refund under Section 4, only the refunded days are reversed. The days you already paid for and used remain a paid period, they are not downgraded retrospectively, and anything that had already permanently occurred during that period is unaffected. The Free-plan rules described above apply only from the date the refund takes effect. Where you receive a full refund under the seven-day window, the whole purchase is reversed and the Account is treated as having been on the Free plan throughout.
Downgrading does not delete your content by itself. But because Free-plan limits and lifetimes then apply, you should export anything you need before requesting a refund. Analytics can be exported as CSV from the app while you are still on a paid plan. We are not obliged to restore a Link, slug, page or statistic that expires or becomes unavailable as a result of a downgrade you requested.
6. How to request a refund
Write to us through the contact page from the email address on the Account, and tell us which plan and which payment you mean. For a request under Section 4, contact us within 90 days of the event.
We will confirm whether a refund is due, and we aim to pay it within 30 days of agreeing it. We refund to the original payment method where that is practicable, and by bank transfer where it is not. Refunds are calculated on the amount we actually received, excluding any bank, transfer or currency-conversion charge, and net of any tax we are required to withhold. We do not refund third-party charges we never received.
7. When no refund is due
- we suspend or terminate your Account for breach of the Terms, for abuse, or for non-payment;
- the interruption arises from your own act or configuration, your Destination, your webhook endpoint, or a third-party service you use;
- a Link or a short domain is blocked or blocklisted by a third party, as described in Section 7.1 of the Terms, without the paid functionality itself becoming unavailable;
- you simply did not use the Service during the paid period;
- the use was on a Free plan, which is provided at no charge.
8. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation that cannot be waived — for example under the law of the EU, the United Kingdom, or Mongolia's consumer-protection legislation. Nothing in this policy removes or limits those rights. Where they apply and give you more than this policy does, they prevail.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. A change applies to purchases made after it takes effect; it does not reduce a refund right that had already arisen on a payment you had already made. Material changes are announced on the site.
10. Sole remedy
Where a refund is due under this policy, that refund is your sole and exclusive remedy for the matter it relates to, and it remains subject to the limitation of liability in Section 19 of the Terms of Service.
